Ohio State University is a member of the Science Coalition, a multi-institutional organization devoted to fostering public understanding and appreciation of research and in supporting the allocation of public resources to that effort. Ohio State was a charter member of this organization.

Each year, the Science Coalition features an overview of current research and scholarship underway at each of its member institutions. The following are links to previous features showing the breadth of research underway at Ohio State University.

In addition, the Science Coalition sponsors periodic "roundtables" where the senior leaders of the nation's top research institutions share frank and open discussions with many of the nation's top journalists. As part of these activities, each participating institution will produce a poster exemplifying one of the major research programs underway at that campus.
