Lights, Camera, Action Plan!
This week marked the beginning of a new four-week educational series from YP4H called “Take Action,” which aims to help us develop a plan of action for pursuing health and wellness:
During this four-part series, you will learn about personalized action plans and develop your own plan! Tailor your exercise and nutrition plan to your goals and then plan for the “what’s next” in the journey towards your optimal level of well-being. Join us for one or all four. Registration is required for each session.
Part 1: Creating Your Personalized Action Plan, Wednesday, January 22nd from 12:00pm to 12:30pm
Part 2: Tailor Your Nutrition Plan, Wednesday, January 29th from 12:00pm to 12:30pm
Part 3: Tailor Your Nutrition Plan, Wednesday, February 5th from 12:00pm to 12:30pm

OSU Health Coach Kristen Mosier began the first session with an empowering message: “Any person can cultivate wellness for themselves.” She walked the 25 webinar attendees through envisioning our health goals and creating an action plan to get started.
Although Mosier encouraged us to pursue concrete goals, she made the point that health and wellness are not endpoints, they are the manifestation of us living our lives the way we want to live them. So as we filled out worksheets for creating a wellness vision and forming an action plan, she encouraged us to think of things that we like to enjoy, not things that we think we should do.
