This map shows the location of the Quelccaya ice cap in Peru and other ice caps and glaciers along the Andes in that country.
This view of the Qori Kalis glacier flowing out from the Quelccaya ice cap in Peru shows both the retreat of the ice tongue in 2000. The closest shore of the lake approximates how far the margin of the ice extended in 1978.
