The Center for Affordable Nanoengineering of Polymeric Biomedical Devices (CANPBD) -- the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center funded by the National Science Foundation and led by Ohio State University -- partnered with the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design to create a visual representation of the research at the center. This ambitious project has been nicknamed VIE, or Virtual Interactive Environment. The VIE allows a user to browse the center's testbeds, core technologies, projects, and people -- as well as see how every one of those entities are connected.
